We are happy to share our story. I had hopes that I would meet someone on this site, but I was just trying to do my part by trying to be out there. I did not spend much time writing or conversing with people, I just wanted to meet them to see if we clicked. I would write to out of state people if they wrote to me, and were planning a visit. I am so glad that Mark was aggressive enough to plan a trip to SLC, not knowing to much about me. I normally met people for a quick visit, but since he was driving all of the way from Washington State, I felt like I should at least meet him for a little bit longer. I didn't usually meet guys at night, so I got two other couples to meet us for dessert. He played along, and was a good sport. I immediately liked him and my friends fell in love. He was so entertaining, fun, and very attentive. We were just planning on that night, but he stayed in SLC for 3 more nights, each night asking me if I would like to go
out the next. Long story short, after countless phone calls, and a visit to Washington, I was smitten. He has visited SLC, and I Washington. On my last visit he asked me to marry him in front of the Columbia RiverTemple in Richland, Washington. I have waited for a man who not only is kind, and funny, and treats me well, but one who honors his Priesthood, and can take me to the temple. He is the love of my life.
